Cottage BBC in Creuse

The Gite is situated in Creuse. The front of the building overlooks the hamlet, whilst the rear (furnished with large glass doors) overlooks the garden and countryside. The garden, which is private and not overlooked, is surrounded by rustic hedges.

The gite was originally an old barn which has been converted to accommodate 8 people. It has a floor space of 170 m2.

A peaceful and tranquil stay is guaranteed. There are various tourist sites in the surrounding area, and lots of opportunities for walking, cycling, and other country pursuits. You can also hire Kayaks, or take windsurfing lessons.

There is also plenty of lake and river fishing.

The building was designed to have a low carbon footprint. The hot water is furnished by solar power.
Particular attention has been paid to ensure that the walls and floors of all the rooms are insulated against sound.

Inside the cottage

There are four bedrooms on the first floor. The beds are made up ready for guests and towels are provided. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and WC, and a 160cm (5’2”) bed. Bedroom no. 2 also has a 160cm (5’2”) bed. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are both designed for 2 people, each having 2 x 90 cm (35”) beds. An upstairs bathroom and WC serves bedrooms 2, 3 and 4.

On the ground floor there is a large living space with including a dining area, a sitting area (with an open fire, internet facility, television, video player, DVD player with MP3 connection,

A fully equipped kitchen area with oven, microwave, food processor, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

There is a cloakroom by the entrance, a WC and a washing and drying machine situated in a sound insulated cupboard.

Relaxation area

Also on the ground floor, accessible from the living area, is the private indoor pool (heated year-round) and leisure area containing, a spa, an exercise bike and an elliptical trainer.

This part of the building is finished in wood, and large glass doors open up onto a terrace which is an extension of the wooden floor, looking out onto the garden and the surrounding countryside.
